January 19, 2022

The senior leadership team of Midstate Mechanical, LLC (“Midstate”), covering the Phoenix and Tucson markets, has partnered with Kassel Mechanical, LLC (“Kassel”), based in Columbus, Ohio. Midstate and Kassel are engaged in providing full-service mechanical contracting services specializing in commercial and industrial projects.

Midstate was established in 1986 and has continued to deliver high-quality projects with a strong focus on customer satisfaction while following the highest degree of safety and training for their employee team. Dave Jones, Midstate CEO, said, “I am extremely excited about the partnership and future opportunities, and expect they will continue to support the expansion of our construction and services business; for both our customers and our team members.”

Kassel has continued to grow and expand their mechanical service offering while adding additional construction services in the Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Suppression businesses. Tom Werner, Kassel’s CEO, said, “we’ve been focused on providing our customers a broad scope of services with a talented group of individuals, with the intent that – long term – it will drive a higher level of customer satisfaction, and stronger operational efficiency. By intent, our combined trade offerings provide customers a more cost-effective and efficient service mechanism”.

Kassel’s near-term goal is to focus on expanding Midstate’s construction offering to include Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Suppression (“MEPF”) capabilities. The expansion of Midstate’s MEPF service offering will support and strengthen its current customer base, as well as intentionally provide opportunities for new customers or verticals.

The Kassel and Midstate partnership will expand the individual developmental opportunities for all employment levels within Midstate. Dave Jones also said, “I am pleased and excited that Kassel will be offering our employees expanded individual growth opportunities.”
